Applications for binders open back up on April 1st, 2024!

Sizing

Morebinders requires two measurements: your apex chest measurement, and your shoulder measurement.

Apex Chest Measurement

A forward-facing illustration of a human torso with three lines going around the chest indicating where you need to take your measurements. Read below for more information regarding each chest measurement.

Your apex chest measurement (#2 above) is the largest part of your chest. This measurement must be taken all the way around the diameter of your chest where the most breast tissue is (usually around the nipples, but this will vary person to person). We may ask for the measurements #1 and #3 if you are between sizes, but we will usually only need #2.

NOTE: the measuring tape should not compress your chest tissue but should touch your body. If the measuring tape is not touching your body - it’s too loose.

Shoulder Measurement

A drawing of a human head and torso facing backward. There is a white line across the person’s shoulders from point to point. The line is arched to follow the curve of the shoulders.

Your shoulder measurement is taken across your shoulders from point to point, following the curve of your back. Place the measuring tape at the point of one of your shoulders, then stretch the tape to the point of your other shoulder. Don't wrap the measuring tape all the way around your shoulders for this measurement.

Please keep in mind that these garments are sized for compression purposes. They are designed to fit snugly in order to compress and flatten.

Do not intentionally go down in size; you will not be able to put your binder on.

In a correctly fitting binder, you should be able to breathe without trouble. Your binder should not cause excessive discomfort or dig into your skin. If you experience any of this, you likely have the wrong size, and we will help you get the correct size.

Why are these measurements important?

Your measurements are specific to the type of binder we will be providing you. Since everyone's body is different, taking careful measurements is the best way to ensure you get the proper size. There are also multiple binder brands in our stock, each with a different set of measurements. Providing us with no measurements, t-shirt sizes, or your best guess means we cannot get you the right size.
